The important point is that Cornelius lived in a time that the O.T Law and the N.T Law came together (Heb.9:15-17 ; 10:9,10). So what happened to Cornelius in the first century was a one time occurrence. One cannot try to apply what happened in (Acts 10) to people today because it was a unique situation (O.T. ending and N.T. beginning).

The Lord said when the Gentiles were admitted into this church that He would name His people (Isa.62:2)(Acts 11:26). It all fits well. The Jews entered the church in (Acts 2). The Gentiles entered the church in (Acts 10). These kinds of references just boggle my mind!! God, Jesus, Holy Spirit. 3 separate, distinct persons who are each "God". Yet, only one of them gets the title most times.

I was really looking forward to your show tonight. I am a new babe in Christ (6yrs old) and I have questions to help me in my understanding of the word. I have started teaching bible class at our church but I am always hungry for knowledge and understanding. I don't take God lightly. I'll still be posting videos on YouTube but I won't be using it for the embedded players anymore. I'm looking into other alternatives for getting the Bible Q-n-A program online. YouTube has changed the way they do their playlists, which has taken a great deal of the control over content out of my hands. I don't want other content, much of it objectionable, showing on my web site. I'm probably going to start uploading complete broadcasts on my own server and embedding a QuickTime player in the posts. Hopefully, I'll have time to start working on it within the next week or so.

I'm really busy right now so it will probably be a while before I start making regular posts to the site. Not only am I getting settled into a new congregation but I am also preparing for a Gospel Meeting in your neck of the woods. I hope you will be able to come to the meeting starting October 5th at the Commerce church of Christ in Commerce, GA. On top of that, I'm getting ready to make a trip to Nepal in December to teach Apologetics at the Himalaya Bible Institute. I'm hoping to be able to post some video from my classes there on the Norm's Notes site.

This says teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs. If we are to teach and admonish one another, that means "everyone is singing" In like manner if you add "playing" which would be a sin (Rev.22:18) then that would mean everyone must have a piano,guitar,horn,etc. etc. Not only that but verse 17 sats what ever you do in word or deed do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, this means by His authority, and in His written will,the N.T. there is NO AUTHORITY given for mechanical instruments of music in worship.]]>
