Hello, my name is Rochelle. I came across your video on youtube.com, I had finished a bible study with a man in mississippi and because I live in NY I sent him to check out the church of Christ online and he called me back informing me of all these so-called churches of Christ having music (that's what we were debating about) so I had to see for myself and I ran into you first and then Jamell Hamilton and at that time you two were the only ones that I saw doing your job and not giving in to the pressure to fill the church! So I wanted to say thank you and shame on them because their conduct caused this man to harden his heart, making my job harder then what is was with this man! Keep up the good work brother! I would like for you if you don't mind to send me some of your materials and posters because my church would love it. we would need as many as you can! please send them to:
The church of Christ
114 Lincoln Ave.
Syracuse, NY 13203
(315)471-7848
churchofchristmf@yahoo.com
P.S. I love hearing you reason with people and I have told people about you and would love to have you come to Syracuse and be a guest speaker and possible challenge some churches around here! Thank you for your dedication, you have inspired me!

Sincerely, Rochelle Coleman

Hello, I came across your site on "youtube" and I was so glad that you teach the same thing that the Kimber road church of Christ teaches!(The Bible.) I was on line looking up other's teachings and just trying to gain more ways to present the word and watching other's boldness in God's truth. I want to tell you out of all the so called churches of Christ I saw you didn't let go of God's unchanging hand! I love how you present the word and I ask from you to pray that my utterance be pleasing unto God. I had to learn that God gives the increase, it was hard to understand why people tarried, when I heard the truth and ran to salvation but we are a stiff-neck people and I'm gratful for all of your hard work, God bless you! The reason I was on line looking at other churches of Christ was because I have been studying with people from all over and not just in my area so I would tell these people I studied with to look us up on line and I was informed by those who heard the word that those other churches of Christ were not doing what was instructed, (singing with instruments!) I would like for you to do a study on these churches of Christ that are obeying man rather then God!

I also have been seeing a lot of Christian singles going out into the world looking for mates and I was wondering is there a website that Christians from all over can greet each other because this has been a concern and I don't feel like I should be ashamed to ask, So I have!
Thank you,
Sincerely, Rochelle Coleman

(Isa.62:2) told there would be a time when the Gentiles would be included in the righteousness of the lord (the church). What many people do not understand is that the Patriarchal Age did not end for the Gentiles until (Acts 10). Cornelius was obedient to God while living under the PA (Acts 10:2). So naturally a person who submits to the O.T Law will submit to the N.T. Law when it began. That is what happen.

The important point is that Cornelius lived in a time that the O.T Law and the N.T Law came together (Heb.9:15-17 ; 10:9,10). So what happened to Cornelius in the first century was a one time occurrence. One cannot try to apply what happened in (Acts 10) to people today because it was a unique situation (O.T. ending and N.T. beginning).

The Lord said when the Gentiles were admitted into this church that He would name His people (Isa.62:2)(Acts 11:26). It all fits well. The Jews entered the church in (Acts 2). The Gentiles entered the church in (Acts 10). Then the Lord named His people (Acts 11:26).

One who argues the point, "those of the house of Cornelius and he himself were saved at the moment of Holy Spirit Baptism", is neglecting to notice the purpose of the Holy SPirit Baptism at this time. (Acts 11:16-18). It was to show the doubting Jews and Peter himself included, that God had granted repentance unto life unto the Gentiles. Peter himself had not fully grasped the reality of the Gentiles being grafted in with the Jews for he stated: "Of a truth, I perceive that God is no respecter of persons. But in every nation he that feareth Him and worketh righteousness is accepted with Him." The key words are "I PERCEIVE." These show us even when Cornelius came before the Apostle Peter and showed is enthusiasm in wanting to know the comandments of God, the words whereby he and all of his house could be saved, Peter was just beginning to see, perceiving, the reality of the Gentiles being accepted into the kingdom of God.

One of the biggest contradictions with the situation of Cornelius and his house being saved is this: The majority of those who teach Cornelius and his household were saved at the moment of Holy Spirit baptism, do not realize they are admitting a salvation that doctrine which contradicts another to which they hold so dear. This is the doctrine that one is saved by faith alone. Peter said, "As I began to speak the Holy Spirit fell on them as on us at the beginning." The crucial point being made, is Cornelius and his household needed to hear words whereby he and all his house could be saved. But one admits he must have faith. (Rom. 10:17)- "So then faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of God." If they were saved at the moment of Holy Spirit Baptism, then they were saved before they had faith, which comes from hearing the Word of God, because Peter had just begun to speak, he hadn't said anything at the point of Baptism by the Holy Ghost (Acts 11:15).

First Norm let me start by saying may God bless you and your work. My He give you the patience and knowledge to know when the Devil has entered the building. I am new to this Utube sight and in the small amount of time I have watched most of your videos and I want you to know (something you probably already know) but we are of the minority. I am very proud of it. People want to treat God/Jesus/Holy Spirit like a disease that you better not talk about unless you have the cure! I don't agree with this mentality. It is our responsibility to Love God and his Son as He loves us if we want to receive His promise. I just want you to know that I feel that you are doing it exactly the way God wants you to and do not let Satan convince you otherwise. "the devil uses those closest to us, who allow him, to destroy the ones closest to them." God bless you Norm, I will pray for you and your ministry so that you may continue to reach as many listeners/viewers as possible. I love your work and I believe that God sends us messengers to hear what it is that He needs us to hear at the time we are hearing it...

I was really looking forward to your show tonight. I am a new babe in Christ (6yrs old) and I have questions to help me in my understanding of the word. I have started teaching bible class at our church but I am always hungry for knowledge and understanding. I don't take God lightly. I understand enough to have the fear of my father. and I love Him dearly. I want to be obedient and there are some questions that I have. I look forward to your response as to when and how I could call you on your show?

Thanks Jon.

I'll still be posting videos on YouTube but I won't be using it for the embedded players anymore. I'm looking into other alternatives for getting the Bible Q-n-A program online. YouTube has changed the way they do their playlists, which has taken a great deal of the control over content out of my hands. I don't want other content, much of it objectionable, showing on my web site. I'm probably going to start uploading complete broadcasts on my own server and embedding a QuickTime player in the posts. Hopefully, I'll have time to start working on it within the next week or so.

I'm really busy right now so it will probably be a while before I start making regular posts to the site. On top of that, I'm getting ready to make a trip to Nepal in December to teach Apologetics at the Himalaya Bible Institute. If we are to teach and admonish one another, that means "everyone is singing" In like manner if you add "playing" which would be a sin (Rev.22:18) then that would mean everyone must have a piano, guitar, horn, etc. etc. Not only that but verse 17 sats what ever you do in word or deed do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, this means by His authority, and in His written will, the N.T. there is NO AUTHORITY given for mechanical instruments of music in worship.
